Protection with defined support

Peace of mind.
With the details in view.

Explore the warranty provisions below, then check your specific treatment. Eligibility and remedies follow the complete current written warranty, not the headline alone.

4months · limited coverage

Jobsite storage

The jobsite-storage provision addresses eligible lumber before framing. The published manufacturer terms require storage off the ground, in protective cover, and protected from snow, standing water and runoff. Four months does not mean four months of unrestricted wetting.

6months · limited coverage

Framing exposure

The construction provision addresses eligible vertical framing for up to six months before dry-in. Keep records of construction and enclosure dates, allow drainage and drying, and follow the selected treatment’s exposure instructions.

5years · limited coverage

Mold

The published manufacturer terms describe five-year limited coverage for mold on the cured treated-component film in eligible covered structures. This does not cover every surface in a home, eliminate moisture-control responsibilities or provide a health guarantee.

10years · limited coverage

Termites

The published terms describe ten-year limited coverage for wood-ingesting insects on eligible treated components. The exact insect scope, lumber and installation requirements apply; required inspections and other pest-management measures remain important.

10years · limited coverage

Rot

Ten-year limited fungal-decay coverage concerns eligible treated wood within the documented use. It is not a ground-contact rating, a promise against all water damage, or a substitute for drainage, flashing and required finishes.

20years · limited coverage

Specified fire performance

The additional provision applies to eligible 4400-treated dimensional lumber and specified Class A surface-burning performance for up to twenty years. It is not a fire-damage warranty and does not make the lumber fireproof. Eligible species and all written conditions must be confirmed.

Manufacturer summaries are a starting point, not confirmation of your order’s coverage. Ask REZWOOD to confirm the controlling written warranty version, coverage start date, eligible products, claim procedure and exclusions. Remedies are narrower than a general promise to repair a building.

What should I confirm?

Eligible species and grade; authorized treatment facility; registration and treatment records; storage and dry-in dates; required finishes; first-owner and transfer rules; claim deadlines; and the precise remedy and exclusions.

Does rain exposure change the answer?

Storage coverage, vertical-framing coverage and fire-performance qualification are separate questions. Temporary construction provisions do not establish unlimited exterior use. Confirm your treatment’s wetting, finishing and exposure requirements before the wood is exposed.
