The current third-party evaluation states that qualifying products do not require incising and retain the source lumber’s listed dry-use design stresses. Request the report through RezWood’s controlled technical-document process.
Use the right exposure detail
2200 covers UC1, UC2, and protected UC3A conditions. Exterior use must be protected from direct wetting and detailed with the required coating, flashing, drainage, and maintenance.

RezWood 2200 is differentiated by its documented whole-frame package of mold-growth inhibition, decay resistance, insect resistance, low-emissions certification, and familiar dry-use framing performance within its approved exposures.

The supplied certification covers the finished 2200 system tested with wood under UL 2818 for low chemical emissions.

Independent technical evaluation supports approved building-code applications and the documented preservative-performance claims without exposing proprietary formulation details.
Reaction-with-metals testing
AWPA E12 testing is included in the technical evaluation. Fasteners and connectors must still follow the exposure, building code, and hardware manufacturer's requirements.

Eligible projects may include coverage while installed vertical framing remains exposed during construction. Drainage, drying, housekeeping, and the documented exposure conditions still matter.
After construction · 5 years · Mold
Eligible projects may include limited protection against mold growth on the treated lumber. Coverage does not replace moisture control, ventilation, leak repair, or normal building maintenance.
Long-term protection · 10 years · Subterranean termite damage
Eligible projects may include limited protection for damage from the termite species named in the written warranty, including subterranean and Formosan termites. Untreated wood, cellulose, and conditions outside the documented application remain outside the coverage.

Water-based, mineral-centered protection
Choose fasteners for the treatment, exposure, building code and connector manufacturer’s guidance. RezWood™ 2200 has supplied certification for a system tested with wood under UL 2818 for low chemical emissions.
Cutting any lumber creates wood dust. Use dust control, eye protection and job-specific PPE. Never burn treated wood; confirm local reuse and disposal requirements.
